Resources for Coaches, Athletic Directors & Schools
Point families toward free, vetted NIL education — without facilitating or negotiating deals (which AIA rules prohibit school personnel from doing).
AIA NIL Disclosure Checklist
For student athletes & families.

Talking points for parent meetings
- • NIL is allowed for AZ HS athletes under AIA bylaw 15.11.1 — as individuals only.
- • Deals must not involve school branding, facilities, or be tied to performance.
- • Schools and coaches cannot negotiate, arrange, or facilitate deals.
- • Students must disclose NIL activity to the athletic director.
- • Parents should review every agreement; a lawyer or CPA may be appropriate.
- • Education-first: most students won't earn significant NIL income — character and safety come first.
